SAFETY FIRST

Your safety is the absolute priority. RV systems can be dangerous if handled improperly. Please do not attempt to work on live 120V electrical circuits, LP gas lines, or perform roof work if you are not experienced and equipped with the proper safety gear. If a check feels unsafe or beyond your technical comfort zone, stop immediately and contact a professional.

Power & Electrical

  • Check pedestal breakers and EMS surge protectors.
  • Verify battery disconnect switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Check the GFCI outlets for a tripped reset button.

Slides & Leveling

  • Ensure the battery voltage is at least 12.6V or plugged in.
  • Check for physical obstructions inside and outside.
  • Confirm the parking brake is set for hydraulic systems.

When to Call a Pro

Burning Smells or Smoke: If you detect an electrical ozone scent or see smoke, shut off main power immediately and call us.

Repeated Breaker Trips: If a circuit continues to fail after a single reset, there is a likely short or fault that needs a professional meter diagnostic.

Plumbing Leaks: Any water intrusion into the walls or floor structure requires immediate professional attention to prevent rot and mold.

Total Power Loss: If you have checked your shore power pedestal and main breakers but still have no interior power, the inverter or transfer switch may have failed.
